Chinese multinational Huawei has recently launched a Pro version of Huawei Y6.
Huawei Y6 had been launched by the smartphone manufacturer last year. In fact, Huawei Y6 is the international version of Honor 4A whereas the Y6 Pro is the Global name of Enjoy 5.
In terms of specs, the Huawei Y6 Pro features a 5-inch HD LCD display with 720 × 1280 pixels screen resolution. The phone also features 16 M colors and is driven by quad-core MT6735P chipset clocked at 1.3GHz by MediaTek.
The smartphone packs in 2GB of RAM along with 16GB expandable internal memory. The device weighs 160gms, is 9.7mm thick. Huawei Y6 Pro supports the Dual SIM feature.
The power backup to the Y6 Pro by Huawei is provided by a large 4000mAh battery. The handset comes with fast charging and reverse charging functionality. This smartphone will be driven by Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Emotion UI 3.1 Lite on top.
For camera, the handset embraces an auto-focus 13MP primary camera along with 5MP front-facing snapper to click selfies. Additional connectivity options include Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.
The handset features an exclusive metal design named ‘Water-ripple’ by Huawei. The upcoming device will be released in three color choices including white, gray and gold.
There has been no word regarding the price and availability of the device; however the upcoming handset is rumored to be priced at less than $250.
For a mid-range handset, the 4000mAh battery and a metal design are definitely the highlight. The company has also claimed that the device will ensure around 39hours of talk time. Huawei Y6 Pro has already been launched in China.
Huawei seems to be pushing the limits with its mid-range device boasting a few high-end specs.
