A couple of days back, leaks revealed Huawei’s plan to unveil a new smartphone under the Nova 7 series.
Recall, the company announced the Nova 7 series last year. And it also took the covers off the Nova 8 series last November.
The Chinese phone maker took to China to unveil the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G LOHAS Edition last Friday.
One of the highlights of the latest smartphone is the new Kirin 820E chipset it features.
The Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G LOHAS Edition has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display. The screen offers the user a 20:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Under the hood, the Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G LOHAS Edition features the Kirin 820E – a lower variant of the Kirin 820 SoC.
The latest Kirin 820E chip comprises three Cortex-A76 cores that clocks at 2.2GHz and three Cortex-A55 with a 1.84GHz clock speed.
The all-new Nova 7 SE 5G LOHAS Edition offers the user 8GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built storage space. For additional storage, the handset features a nano memory card slot.
The handset ships with the EMUI 10.1 skin based on Android 10 OS. Its 4,000mAh battery has support for 40W fast charging tech.
The 16-megapixel front-facing shooter on the phone allows users to take selfies and make video calls.
The Nova 7 SE 5G LOHAS Edition features a quad-camera system on its rear panel. It consists of a 64-megapixel primary lens, an ultrawide 8-megapixel shooter, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth assist shooter.
The phone supports connectivity options like dual SIM, 5G, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G LOHAS Edition launched in China with a price tag of 2,299 Yuan. It is available for purchase in colours like black, silver, green, and purple.
