The Huawei P50 has been setting the rumour mills agog for a while now, given the renders that we have seen and the possible specs of the unit.

This line of units from Huawei is focused on the photography front, so we were not surprised to see the massive cameras that are promised with these units. Right now, there is official confirmation of when the unit will launch – and we also know that it won’t be alone.

Coming from the CEO of the company, Richard Yu, we should gear up for the launch of this device on July 29. The launch will most likely be a virtual one that interested users and enthusiasts can stream. The CEO also confirmed that this device will continue in the line of photography as others in the niche, so we wait to see what they bring on board for us.

Finally, there are no indications of what other units will show up in this series. If past launches are anything to go by, though, we should be expecting a Pro and Plus series, among possible others.
