Huawei might not have the chance to use Google’s products on its devices, but the smartphone OEM is not giving up in the market either.
We already have four units – the Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro+ and Mate 40 RS Porsche – in the Mate 40 series. However, the smartphone maker is not done with this series yet and they have brought us a new 5G option.
To be dubbed the Mate 40E 5G, this phone carries a 6.5-inch screen with 90Hz refresh rate and a single punch hole camera in the top left corner. The almost bezel-less design features a combination of four camera lenses on the back, led by a 64MP sensor.
For a better camera quality promise, Huawei continues to team up with Leica to improve its mobile photography section.
Digging deeper, Huawei paired this unit with a Kirin 990E chipset and as much as 8GB of RAM. Users will have to choose between getting the 128GB or 256GB storage options, though.
