Popular HTC device leakster who goes by the handle @LlabTooFeR on Twitter has brought us what we should be looking out for on the upcoming HTC U12 units. According to the list which contained key specs for the unit, the market should get ready for dual camera units and a massive storage, among other things.
The dual cameras will be rated at 12MP and 16MP while there would also be an 8MP front shooter. Not so big on selfies, this one. What it is big on, however, is the storage – users will get a stunning 256GB of internal storage space.

There is no word on how much of this the system application will take up, but there is still sure to be very ample left for the user. To ship with Android 8.0 Oreo, the unit is to be powered by a rather small 3420mAh battery
Being the Asian OEM’s next flagship, it is not surprising that there would be a Snapdragon 845 chipset under the hood. A 6GB of RAM is in place with all of these specs too. Finally, there is the promise of an IP68 certification. In English, that means the phone will be able to stay submerged underwater for as long as 30 minutes without getting any damage. That is provided the water is not more than 1m deep.
There is no concrete launch date for the unit yet but the tip claims it should hit the markets sometime in April. There is also the possibility of different variants for different markets with the device having been promised in single and dual-SIM variants
