Taiwanese multinational HTC had released a couple of Desire handsets in the past few months. Now, a new HTC smartphone named Desire 530 has been listed by an online Dutch retailer.
The Netherland-based portal, Centralpoint has listed the formal launch of Desire 530 by HTC for the 23rd of this month.
According to the listing, the device will feature two color options including Graphite Gray color and Stratus White. The smartphone will set back its users by €190 which is equivalent to $207. The price hints at the fact that the handset will feature modest specs and features.
Desire 530 is being proclaimed as the successor of Desire 526 which was released back in 2015.
Desire 526 featured a QHD 4.7-inches display with 960×540p screen resolution. The device was driven by quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz. The handset also packed in 1.5GB of RAM along with 8GB of internal memory with microSD card support.
For camera, the device contained an 8MP primary shooter and 2MP front-facing camera to click selfies. Aside from a few minor changes, HTC Desire 530 is expected to offer similar specs.
In the beginning of last month, the Taiwanese company had formally announced HTC Desire 728 for Indian markets valued at Rs. 17,990.
This smartphone features HD 5.5-inch display and is driven by MT6753 octa-core SoC by MediaTek. The handset incorporates 2GB of RAM along with 16GB of internal memory. Desire 728 sports LED supported 13MP primary snapper along with 5MP front camera.
It is yet to be revealed which specs the Desire 530 by HTC will inherit from these previously released devices. Mobile World Congress that will be held in Spain this month will also witness the unboxing of HTC Desire 530. The event will kick off in Barcelona on 22 February.
