HTC added optical image stabilization to its new Desire 828 smartphone, making it the first member of the Desire series to offer OIS.
The company has begun receiving pre-orders for the HTc Desire 828 in China where it has been priced around RMB1600 which approximately equates $255 (50,000 Naira).
Apart from the OIS, the company has given a fine finish to the device with its 5.5 inches full HD display that ensures crisp and clear display.
HTC Desire 828 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset. The device operates on Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC Sense 6.0 UI which ensures a seamless user experience.
Internally, the device packs 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of in-built storage. The memory is expandable up to a massive 2TB via microSD card but the users will have to wait till the 2 TB memory cards hit the markets. The device supports dual-sim mode and also offers 4G LTE connectivity.
As far as the power backup is concerned, HTC Desire 828 is powered via a 2800 mAh which is a decent battery for the device. The camera specifications of Desire 828 are quite decent with a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front cam.
HTC Desire 828 is around 7.9 mm thick and supports dual-front stereo speakers. The device will be launched in two color variants, white and grey.
Currently the device has only been launched in China and the company has not made any comment or commitment regarding its worldwide release.
