The Taiwanese multinational HTC is avidly running its campaign for the upcoming flagship smartphone christened HTC 10.
The company has released yet another teaser of the latest handset via the official Twitter account of HTC. The new teaser claims that the #Powerof10 is about to get louder.
The twitter post depicted the smartphone speakers and was captioned
“Here comes the new boom. You’ll hear it #powerof10.”
The accompanying image showcases two contrasting speaker grilles. Ironically, these grilles have never been seen in the leaked renders of the smartphone.
The latest teasers attest to the fact that the entire focus of HTC 10 is not merely on its camera quality. Instead, the smartphone arena might be in for a surprise BoomSound experience.
HTC will be hosting a virtual press event on the 12th April to formally launch the latest handset.
HTC 10 is said to feature 5.1-inch Super LCD 5 display with 2560×1440p screen resolution. The handset is speculated to be fueled by Snapdragon 820 SoC by Qualcomm along with Adreno 530 GPU for graphics.
Under the hood, the upcoming device by HTC will sport 4GB of RAM along with 32GB expandable internal storage. The device will be driven by Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
In terms of camera, HTC 10 is rumored to encapsulate 12 Ultrapixel main snapper supported by laser autofocus and OIS.
The smartphone will be powered by 3000mAh battery backup. In addition, the device will also contain fingerprint scanner mounted in the home button.
As far as the price of the upcoming handset is concerned, One M8 hung a price tag of £550 that rose to £579 for HTC One M9, so the HTC 10 is expected to lie in the same price range.
However, HTC has not yet confirmed anything about the price of its next smartphone.
