This is the season of device launches and HMD Global won’t be left out of all the good press. That is why they have scheduled a launch event for October 6, but they decided to keep us in the dark by not telling us what they will bring on that day.
The teaser image that they used to announce this launch features the device that have made a name for the brand in the past, leading up to some closed boxes. We know those closed boxes means the devices that they want to launch. With two closed boxes, it is rational to assume that we might get two launches on that day.
There is also a large box which tells us that the company might be ready to bring its tablet into the market. Likewise, we could get the leaked and rumoured Nokia G50 5G on that day in the flesh.
For now, we should wait to see if the company leaks or teases anything else between now and the launch date. In the same vein, we could also get some more leaks from unofficial sources to prepare us for what’s to come on that day.
No matter what happens, we have a launch date and that’s all that matters right now.
