Last December, Vivo took the covers off the Vivo Y31s 5G smartphone in its home country. The phone arrived as the world’s first 5G-ready device to feature the Snapdragon 480 chipset.
Yesterday, an official listing of the phone appeared on Google Play Console. A YouTuber – TTechnical – spotted the document.
The Google Play listing of the Vivo Y31s suggests that it could launch in the global markets soon.
The Phone’s Google Play listing reveals that it sports a waterdrop notch display with a pixel density of 480ppi. And it delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 480 chipset would oversee the operations of the Vivo Y31s smartphone. It would ship with 6GB of RAM and the Android 11 OS.
Presently, it is unclear which markets will welcome the upcoming Vivo Y31s 5G smartphone.
Specifications of the Vivo Y31s 5G
In China, the Y31s 5G smartphone arrived in a single variant. It features 6GB of LPDDRR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It sells for 1,698 Yuan.
The handset has a 6.58-inch panel that has a 90Hz refresh rate.
On the front side, the Vivo Y31s has an 8-megapixel snapper that allows the user to take selfies and make video calls.
The rear camera system comprises a 13-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash unit.
The Vivo Y31s 5G draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
In China, the handset is available in ruby red, monet, and titanium grey.
