Chinese mobile brand Gionee has launched new RAM variants of the Gionee F103 into the mobile phone marketplace in India.
The mid-range Gionee F103 had been launched a few months ago but it came with 2GB RAM and was priced at Rs. 9,999 (approximately 30,000 Naira).
The smartphone makers have now produced the 1GB and 3GB RAM versions of the phone, keeping the rest of the features and specs of the phone the same.
“With our F series, we have achieved to get both design and performance in one device, for our consumers get the best of both worlds. Hence, we have introduced two more variants for F103, i.e. in 1GB and 3GB RAM which will ensure an even superior experience for consumers, while keeping the style quotient intact.”
Timir Baran Acharyya, general manager, Gionee India, said during the launch of the devices.
The 1GB RAM variant of the phone goes for Rs 8,999 (about 27,000 Naira) while the 3GB RAM version is priced at Rs 10,999 (roughly 33,000 Naira).
All three versions of the phone are available in pearl white, dawn white and black color options.
The smartphone is 7.9 mm thick- it measures 146 × 70.3 × 7.95 mm, features mirror glass back and also comes in a metal frame.
It has a 5 inch HD screen with 1280 × 720 pixels resolution which is protected by the Dragon Trail Glass.
The Gionee F103 is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad core MediaTek 6735 Processor coupled with a Mali T-720 GPU for graphics rendering.
It sports an 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash which is great for taking exquisite pictures. It also has a 5 Megapixel front camera which is quite handy for taking selfies and other basic functions of a front camera.
For memory options, the Gionee F103 has a 16GB of on-board memory which can be expanded up to 32GB using MicroSD Card.
The smartphone is a dual sim device and supports dual standby mode. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, and Micro-USB.
It is powered by a 2,400 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3 UI.
