The security patch for the month of April has made its way to some Galaxy devices already but others are yet to get theirs. Even though we are almost at the halfway mark of the month, it is good to note that some more Galaxy units are getting their bump too.
If you happen to own either of the Galaxy S8/ S8+ units, or a Galaxy Z Flip, you can now head over to the Settings dashboard of your device to manually request the update if you have not gotten the notification for that already.
The updates for the Galaxy S8 units first surfaced in South Korea and barring any issues, it should hit other global markets soon too.
These updates are there to fix 21 issues on the Samsung front and about 30 issues on the Google front, so you should download and install it as soon as you have the chance to do so. There is uncertainty as to what regions the update for the Galaxy Z Flip is currently rolling out to but all that will soon be a thing of the past when everyone gets it.
For those who could not find their Samsung devices on this list, as well as the list of the units that’ve gotten the updates, we will update you accordingly when Samsung starts pushing yours out too.
