Not long ago, an OPPO device with model number PECM30 / PECT30 surfaced on TEENA. Its TEENA listing did the honours of revealing the full specs and images of the phone ahead of its official launch.
Meanwhile, about a week ago, the same OPPO phone appeared on Geekbench, and the details on Geekbench states that the phone will feature the Dimensity 720 chipset.
Yesterday, the phone got listed in the product library of China Telecom as the OPPO A53 5G. The China Telecom listing has revealed all there is to know about the upcoming OPPO A53 5G.
The OPPO A53 5G packs a 6.53-inch LCD panel with a punch-hole design and support for Full HD+ resolution.
In this listing, the configuration details of the front camera seem incorrect, but its TEENA listing had earlier revealed that the OPPO A53 5G would come with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
The phone will boot to the ColorOS UI based on Android 10 OS, and it will feature the Dimensity 720 SoC. It will come in two editions such as 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage.
On the backside, the OPPO A53 5G packs a triple camera setup, which includes a 16-megapixel primary shooter and a pair of 2-megapixel lenses in a square-shaped module. The module also consists of an LED flash unit.
It will house a 3,945mAh battery, which for now, we are not aware if it supports fast charging of any kind.
However, the overall design and specifications of the OPPO A53 5G make it appear as a lower sibling to the OPPO A72 5G.
Further, the listing states that the OPPO A53 5G will launch on December 1 in China. It also reveals that both variants of the phone will sell for 1,599 Yuan (~$243) and 1,799 Yuan (~$274) respectively.
The OPPO A53 5G will debut in the following colour editions: secret night black, lake green, and streamer purple.
