Rumours around the launch of the upcoming OPPO Reno5 series have been making waves on the internet, and they keep at it.
However, the Chinese firm has announced its plans to officially take the cover off the smartphone series on December 10.
Previous reports have stated that the series consists of three handsets which include OPPO Reno5 5G, OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G, and OPPO Reno5 Pro+ 5G.
Not long ago, the Reno5 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G smartphones surfaced on the websites of some Chinese retail platform for reservations.
Finally, after several weeks of leaks, the full specifications and pricing details of the OPPO Reno5 and OPPO Reno5 Pro have made it to the product library of China Telecom.
According to the China Telecom Listing, the OPPO Reno5 5G measures 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm. It has a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel that produces a Full HD+ resolution.
Meanwhile, the Reno5 Pro 5G measures 159.7 x 73.2 x 7.9mm, and it houses a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel.
The leaked images reveal that the two Reno5 smartphones have punch hole designs and curved edge displays.
However, the official renders of the Reno5 5G mentions that it has a flat display, which contradicts the information from its China Telecom listing.
On the back area, both smartphones have the same quad-camera system, which comprises of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an ultrawide 8-megapixel lens, and a pair of 2-megapixel supporting sensors.
The two upcoming Reno5 smartphones feature 32-megapixel selfie snappers, and they come pre-installed with the all-new Android 11 OS.
Further, the listing states that the Snapdragon 765G will drive the Reno5 5G and the Reno5 Pro 5G would feature the Dimensity 1000+ processor.
The Reno5 duo respectively houses a 4,300mAh battery that has support for 65W fast charging.
The report lists the Reno5 5G and the Reno5 Pro 5G in two variants such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The Reno5 5G carries a price tag of 3,299 Yuan and 3,699 Yuan in the respective variants while the Reno5 Pro 5G sells for 3,899 Yuan and 4,299 Yuan respectively.
The devices will arrive in colour choices like starry dream, aurora blue, and moonlight night.
