We have found out, to our surprise too, that the Samsung device in the pipeline with model number SM-J720F will be addressed as the Galaxy J7 Duo at the time of launch. We also know that the first market the device will launch is India before it makes its way to other parts of the world.
What we would not have expected, however, is that we will get a press render of the smartphone as early as today.
The new render agrees with the leaks that this smartphone will keep the old 16:9 aspect ratio on its screen, come with a physical home button that has become synonymous with Samsung and offer a selfie camera with LED flash.
On the left of the device, a Bixby button is obviously missing so we can assume Samsung is still keeping its AI for flagships. However, the virtual assistant will still be on board, only accessible another way.
Finally, rumoured specs have informed us that it is very likely this device ships with the in-house Exynos 7885 chipset, pack a full 3GB RAM and use Android 8 Oreo. To make up for lesser specs, there will also be a dual camera setup on the back.
For now, there are no details to suggest the pricing model Samsung will use or what batter will be featured under the hood.
