For a couple of weeks, leaks relating to the specs, pricing, and launch of the iQOO Z3 5G have been making rounds on the internet. And the phone is finally here.

Yesterday, the tech giant took to India to announce the iQOO Z3 5G, which arrived as its first non-flagship device to hit the Indian markets.

Specifications of the iQOO Z3 5G

The handset weighs 185.5 grams, and it has a dimension of 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.50mm. It houses a 120Hz 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a teardrop notch.

The display offers the user a 180Hz touch sampling rate, Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR10, 1500:1 contrast ratio, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.

On the frame, the iQOO Z3 5G smartphone features the power button, which doubles as the fingerprint scanner, on its right spine.

Under the hood, the handset sports the Qualcomm-powered Snapdragon 768G chipset. The chipset happens to be the control room for many mid-range 5G smartphones that launched in 2020.

Further, the handset offers the user 8GB of RAM and 8GB of Extended RAM. And the user has access to 128GB / 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

For a non-flagship phone, the iQOO Z3 5G does pack many attractive features.

Meanwhile, the handset features a hybrid SIM slot, which allows for storage expansion via a MicroSD card.

The iQOO Z3 5G houses a 4,400mAh battery that carries support for 55W rapid charging.

According to iQOO, the all-new Z3 5G would gain a 50% charge in 19 minutes.

The phone has a 16-megapixel selfie snapper and a triple rear camera system. The rear camera setup comprises a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel super-wide snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.

The iQOO Z3 5G would come preloaded with the FunTouch OS 11 UI based on Android 11 OS, 5G, dual SIM, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing details of the iQOO Z3 5G

The smartphone launched in three variants:

  • 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs 19,990 (~$275)
  • 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs 20,990 (~$288)
  • 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs 22,990 (~$316)

Starting June 16, the smartphone will begin to sell through platforms like Flipkart and iQOO India’s online store.
