Asus has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the Asus Transformer Book T100HA, which was introduced by the Taiwanese firm last year, in India. The latest models of the 2-in-1 convertible was launched with a price tag of Rs. 23,990 (about 72,000 Naira) and now comes with Windows 10.

The tablet-laptop hybrid runs on Windows 10 with Cortana Digital Assistant, Continuum mode and Microsoft Office Mobile. It’s available in Tin Gray and Aqua Blue colour options.

Sporting a metallic finish, the device comes with a detachable keyboard, which makes it a laptop-tablet hybrid. It weighs 580 grams without the keyboard 1.03kg with it. The keyboard dock connects to the device using neodymium magnets.

The Asus Transformer Book T100HA features a 10.1-inch LED back-lit display with WXGA (1280×800 pixels) resolution and pixel density of 129 ppi. Additionally, the Transformer Book T100HA tablet is perfect for reading and relaxation. The bezel space around the 10.1-inch screen makes it easy to grip with one hand, without accidentally clicking items on the screen.

Powering the 2-in-1 device is a 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor (up to 2MB cache, four cores, four threads, base clock speed at 1.44GHz, burst clock speed at 2.24GHz) clubbed with 2GB of RAM.

ASUS Transformer Book T100HA features a 5 megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for taking pictures and capturing videos. There’s also 64GB eMMC inbuilt storage for storing personal files and applications.

On the connectivity front, there is a USB Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, a Micro-USB 2.0 port, a Micro-HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, spread across the keyboard dock and the tablet display. Also included are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0.

The ASUS Transformer Book T100HA tablet-laptop hybrid comes with 30Whr battery, which as the company claims, lasts for up to 12 hours on a single charge under ‘normal’ usage. Asus also added that the Fast Charging technology in the 2-in-1 tablet can charge its mammoth battery from 0-80 percent in 2 hours.
