The ASUS ROG Phone 3 smartphone has appeared on the database of China’s TEENA telecom authority. The smartphone’s listing has now been updated with the entire specifications it will feature. The device with model number ASUS_I003DD has been benchmarked on AnTnTu, and the result is quite impressive.
As of now, the Taiwanese firm is still silent on the launch date of the ASUS ROG Phone 3, but the listings are a good hint that the device may launch by the end of June or sometime in July.
ASUS ROG Phone 3 specs
The ASUS ROG Phone 3 will come with a 6.59-inch notch-less AMOLED panel. The display offers Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The TEENA listing reveals that the phone weighs 240grams and measures 171 x 78 x 9.85mm.
The TEENA listing further revealed that the ROG Phone 3 would come in three RAM and storage variants. The device will come in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants. As for the storage capacity, it will come with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of inbuilt storage.
The device lacks a memory card slot which indicates that you cannot expand storage.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. A horizontally aligned triple camera system is present on the rear panel of the device.
The ASUS ROG Phone 3 is fueled by a flagship chipset with a clock speed of 3.091GHz. This clock speed is faster than the 2.85GHz of Snapdragon 856. The increase in processing speed indicates that the unannounced Snapdragon 865+ SoC could run this device.
Talking about the phone’s design, the build of the ASUS ROG Phone 3 is almost the same with the ROG Phone 2.
The display on this device promises up to 144Hz refresh rate.
The ASUS ROG Phone 3 will come with a massive 5,800mAh battery. Other features to expect from this device includes an in-screen fingerprint scanner and an iris recognition technology.
