OnePlus 6 and 6T gets Zen Mode, more, in a beta update

If you still happen to have the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T from last year, you are in for a treat. With the OxygenOS 9.5 that debuted with the current OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro came some new features like the Zen Mode and Screen Recorder. Owing to how much fans loved both features, the company promised to extend such goodness to older models too – and they have kept to that promise today.

Coming with a beta build for both devices from last year, it needs no telling that this is not the final version and some things might not be stable yet. If you are willing to live with that, though, you will also get support for VoLTE and VoWifi on some new networks than was previously supported.

That, and the inclusion of squashing some bugs, especially the one that didn’t stop Facebook Messenger from displaying notifications even while in gaming mode.

This update is a global OTA rollout, so we recommend you sit tight while expecting yours. Did we mention that betas might not be as stable as you want?
