In a bid to broaden its LTE network in Nigeria, Nokia joins forces with Tizeti to dispense LTE technology to over one million subscribers in Nigeria.
To achieve this feat, the telecommunication firm will deliver Internet and Virtual Private Network services by deploying Nokia’s AirScale Base Station TDD-LTE and Fastmile Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) gateways.
The intended solution will allow Tizeti to provide its subscribers with a more efficient and high-speed internet service. Also, subscribers will have the flexibility to switch smoothly to 5G Fixed Wireless Access whenever.
According to Nokia, the FWA solution will enable Tizeti speed up broadband access and provide its subscribers with a one of a kind broadband experience.
Also, its AirScale Base Stations promises to deliver high-quality connectivity and coverage and to allow Tizeti tweak the network to satisfy customer demand.
‘’We are committed to delivering top-notch network experience to our customers. We are confident that Nokia’s proven technology and expertise will help our services stand out on quality basis. It is a crucial step for us. Introducing LTE in our networks will enable us to add new innovative services to satisfy our customers,’’ says Kendall Ananyi, CEO of Tizeti.
The Head of Customer Business Team for Nokia Nigeria, Eniola Campbell, says, ‘’We are thrilled to work with Tizeti on this initiative.
