OPPO Reno7 SE Could Feature Specs Similar to the Realme GT Master Edition

Recent reports say that OPPO is working on the Reno7 smartphone lineup, arriving in China soon. The report further stated that the lineup would comprise the OPPO Reno7 SE, OPPO Reno7, and OPPO Reno 7 Pro.

Following the recent leak, a reputable Chinese tipster claims that the OPPO Reno7 SE could arrive as a revamped Realme GT Master Edition variant. He further mentioned that the configuration of the upcoming OPPO Reno7 SE is almost the same as the Realme GT Master Edition.

However, the Reno7 SE may differ in terms of screen features and fast charging capabilities. Rumors say that the Reno7 SE would house a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution.

The OPPO Reno7 SE’s display would deliver a 90Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the Realme GT Master Edition arrived with a 120Hz refresh rate. If the rumors are legit, the OPPO Reno7 SE will debut with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Talking about cameras, the OPPO Reno7 SE would come with a 32-megapixel selfie snapper and triple rear camera unit that comprises a 64-megapixel primary snapper, an ultrawide 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel portrait lens.

Previous reports have mentioned that the Reno7 SE would ship with the Dimensity 920 processor. But considering that it may debut as a revamped Realme GT Master Edition device, it may carry the Snapdragon 778G chip.

The Reno7 SE would likely house a 4,300mAh battery that supports 60W rapid charging.

Redmi Cancels the Redmi K40S; Redmi K50 Series to Arrive Soon

Last year, Redmi unveiled the Redmi K30S smartphone as a revamped model of the Xiaomi Mi 10T. Two months ago, the company took the covers off the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphones in the global markets.

Following the latest releases, speculations say that the Xiaomi 11T could later arrive in China as the Redmi K40S. According to Mydrivers, the General Manager of the Chinese smartphone company recently revealed to Mi fans that there is no Redmi K40S, and the company is working on the Redmi K50 series already.

Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station mentioned that the Redmi K40S hasn’t surfaced at any Chinese certification platform. This information suggests that if the Redmi K40S launches, it may not hit the Chinese markets.

Digital Chat Station further mentioned that the Redmi k40S wouldn’t be as good as the upcoming Snapdragon 870 smartphone that Redmi has yet to launch. The report claims that one of the SD 870 handsets will debut under the Xiaomi branding while the other could launch as the last Redmi K40 series phone.

Unfortunately, Redmi fans anticipated the arrival of a Snapdragon 888 fueled Redmi K40S before the company made the shocking announcement. And it appears that Mi fans will have to wait a little longer for the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series and Redmi K50 series handsets.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 arrived last December as the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 888 chip. So, it’s likely that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 12 series would house a series 8 Snapdragon processor.
