iQOO Launches the Cyber Grid Edition of the iQOO Z5 5G in India

A few months ago, iQOO took the covers off the iQOO Z5 5G smartphone in India, and it hit the country in colors like Arctic Dawn and Mystic Space. Interestingly, the firm has now unveiled the phone in a new color option called Cyber Grid.

The marketing picture of the new color variant of the iQOO Z5 5G shows its gradient blue rear panel with vertical stripes end-to-end.

Compared to the other color options, the Cyber Grid color option stands out. It is now available for purchase on iQOO India’s website and Amazon India.

The iQOO Z5 5G comes with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display houses a 16-megapixel selfie snapper; its rear camera system consists of a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and a 2-megapixel depth shooter.

The Snapdragon 778G processor fuels the iQOO Z5 5G alongside an LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 storage. The handset ships with the Android 11 OS and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

Other features of the iQOO Z5 5G include; a liquid-cooling system, dual-stereo speakers, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth, 5.1, GPS, dual-SIM support, 5G, and a 3.5mm headphone port.

Surprisingly, the Cyber Grid Edition of the iQOO Z5 5G comes in two options: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The variants cost Rs 23,990 (~$322) and Rs 26,990 (~$363), respectively.

Earlier this month, Motorola took the covers off the Moto G51 smartphone. Following the G51’s arrival, speculations say that the next G-series smartphone may arrive under the Moto G71 moniker.

Meanwhile, the smartphone has surfaced on the database of TEENA, and it appears that its launch is closer than expected. While the TEENA listing isn’t accessible yet, a Chinese tipster has shared the images and the specs of the Moto G71.

The TEENA images of the Moto G71 show that it has a punch-hole display, and the right edge has three buttons – the power button and volume controls. Presently, it’s unclear whether the phone would support an under-display fingerprint scanner or the Motorola logo on the rear doubles as a fingerprint reader.

The Chinese variant of the Moto G71 has the model number XT2169-1. The Moto G71 has a 6.4-inch OLED screen that delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It has a triple camera system on its backside and houses a 4,700mAh battery for backup.

A 2.2GHz octa-core processor that supports 5G fuels the Moto G71. Recall, the Moto G51 came with a Snapdragon 480+ SoC. And it’s unclear whether the Moto G71 would come with the same processor.

The handset has a slightly slim profile with a thickness of 8.4mm, and it weighs 180 grams. With the TEENA approval, the Moto G71 might arrive anytime this November.

Earlier this year, OPPO took the covers off the OPPO A55 5G smartphone. And the smartphone hit the Chinese markets with the Dimensity 700 chip.

Last month, the company unveiled a lower connectivity variant of the smartphone – the OPPO A55 4G with the Helio G35 SoC. And a fresh piece of information has revealed that OPPO is planning to launch another smartphone under the A55 lineup.

The leak mentions that the phone would arrive as OPPO A55s, and it may launch soon following its Geekbench appearance.

The upcoming OPPO A55s has the model number CPH2309. The reports surrounding the smartphone is that a SIM-free variant of it will head to Japan at launch.

Another variant of the OPPO A55s with model number A102OP may arrive via a carrier in Japan known as Softbank. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth certification of both phones have shown that they will launch under the OPPO A55s 5G moniker.

Interestingly, the Geekbench listing of the OPPO A55s 5G has revealed that the device would sport a Qualcomm-powered chip that features six 1.8GHz CPU cores and two 2.04GHz CPU cores.

These hints suggest that the OPPO A55s 5G could feature the Snapdragon 480 chip. It may come alongside 4GB of RAM and the Android 11 OS. In the single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests, the OPPO A55s scored 510 points and 1592 points, respectively.

Further, the OPPO A55s 5G’s TUV listing has mentioned that it carries a 4,890mAh battery that supports fast charging.

While there are still doubts about the existence of the OPPO Reno7 Pro+, a leak revealing the image of the Reno7 Pro has appeared on Weibo.

The Reno7 Pro’s leaked shot shows that it sports a punch-hole at the top-left corner of the display. It has an extremely thin chin with an on-screen swipe bar similar to the latest iPhone smartphone series.

One of the significant differences between the Reno7 Pro and the Reno6 Pro is the flat display design on the former. Recall that the Reno6 Pro featured a curved display. OPPO replaced the curved screen with a flat one on the Reno7 Pro.

However, the leak didn’t reveal the image of the handset’s rear. But past reports have been saying some details regarding the OPPO Reno7 Pro. The surprising part is the details have been conflicting so far.

A recent Weibo leak shared by Digital Chat Station revealed that the Reno7 Pro would come with a 90Hz display and the Snapdragon 778G chip.

The phone would likely feature a 64-megapixel rear camera setup and a 4,500mAh battery. According to reports, the OPPO Reno7 Pro may debut with support for 60W fast charging.

The tipster further leaked that the Reno7 features the Dimensity 900 chip, a 64-megapixel rear camera unit, and a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

Last month, a reliable tipster – Evan Blass – mentioned that Motorola is working on two smartphones: Moto G Power (2022) and Moto G200. The two phones carry the codename Tonga and Yukon, respectively.

Interestingly, the rumor mill has shared some of the specifications of the G200. But there’s been no information on the Moto G Power (2022). However, it appears that the former would launch soon as it recently appeared on Geekbench.

The Geekbench listing of the Moto G Power (2022) shows that it would come with a MediaTek-powered chip with the model number MT6765H. The listing’s source code mentions that the processor features the PowerVR Rogue GE8320 GPU.

The minor findings on the smartphone have shown that the G Power (2022) would debut with the Helio G35 chip.

The listing further revealed that the smartphone would offer the user 4GB of RAM and Android 11. In the single-core and multi-core tests on the benchmarking platform, the handset garnered 165 points and 1103 points, respectively.

The other details of the Moto G Power (2022) are under wraps. But the rumor mill says that the Moto G200 would debut with a Full HD+ display that supports a refresh rate of 140Hz and Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.

In the photography department, the Moto G200 features a 16-megapixel primary snapper and a 108-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the rear. The handset would debut with the Android 11 OS, and it may hit the Chinese market as Motorola Edge S30.

The smartphone hit the shelves in India with a price tag of Rs 19,999 (~$270). It will sell via Lava’s India online store, leading e-retail platforms, and retail stores starting November 11.

Customers can pick up the Lava ANGI 5G in Fiery Blue color, and pre-booking with Rs 500 (~$7) entitles you to get the handset at a discounted price of Rs 17,999 (~$243).

Previous reports have claimed that Motorola is working on a new smartphone under its infamous Edge lineup. But there’s yet to be concrete information to back up the claims. However, the publications mentioned that the phone would arrive as the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. 

Interestingly, a reliable source – TechnikNews – has shared some of the specs to expect from the upcoming Motorola handset. Motorola codenamed the Edge 30 Ultra ‘Rogue’ internally. And it carries the ‘HiPhi’ codename outside the firm. 

The phone carries the model number XT2201. It has surfaced on the database of the 3C certification authority of China, which means it may arrive soon.

Specifications of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra

The Moto Edge 30 Ultra may arrive with a 6.67-inch OLED screen that delivers a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a Full HD+ resolution. The handset may carry the next-gen Qualcomm-powered chip. 

The chip has the model number SM8450 and would probably debut as the Snapdragon 898v. Leaks say the Qualcomm SoC may arrive by the end of the month. And that hints that Motorola may unveil the Moto Edge 30 Ultra by the end of the year. 

The leak further states that the Edge 30 Ultra would pack 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, but the device lacks support for additional storage. 

For lenses, the front side of the phone features a 60-megapixel selfies shooter. And the rear panel sports a rectangular camera module that consists of a 50-megapixel OmniVision lens, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN150 ultrawide snapper, and a 2-megapixel OmniVision depth sensor.

The Moto Edge 30 Ultra would rely on a 5,000mAh battery for backup. According to the source, the handset supports 68W fast charging and can charge completely in 35 minutes. 

Though the phone lacks a headphone jack, it supports three microphones, 5G, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, Android 12, and a rear mic for audio zoom.
