ZUK stepped into the smartphone market in 2015 with the release of ZUK 1. Presently, the company has formally launched its much-awaited handset dubbed ZUK Z2 Pro. The handset was revealed in an event held in China.
The device is being hailed as the most powerful smartphone introduced till date by Lenovo under its sub-brand.
ZUK Z2 Pro is a complete bundle of splendid design, robust hardware, and exceptional camera. Thus, it is being regarded as a worthy substitute to most of the other flagship devices released this year.
In terms of design, the handset comes with a 3D floating glass design along with a metal chassis around its edges.
The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor mounted inside the home button along with UV and heart rate sensors.
As far as the internal specs of the handset are concerned, Zuk Z2 Pro comes with a full HD 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080×1920p screen resolution and 424ppi pixel density.
ZUK Z2 Pro is fueled by quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC working at 2.15GHz along with Adreno 530 GPU for enhanced graphics.
On the storage front, Z2 Pro sports massive 4GB/6GB RAM as well as 64GB/128GB internal storage on board.
In addition, the new smartphone flagship by ZUK encapsulate 13MP back camera featuring Samsung ISOCELL sensor, dual tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and hybrid PDAF along with an 8MP front-facing camera to click selfies.
The smartphone sports dual SIM dual standby and will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box. Connectivity choices include 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, VoLTE, WIFI, Bluetooth 4.2 and MicroUSB Type C connectivity.
ZUK Z2 Pro is backed by 3100mAh battery backup supported by Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. It is priced at 2,699 Yuan (6GB RAM/128GB storage option). The 4GB/64GB variant will be accessible from 10th May.
