The Chinese Internet and Smartphone Company ZUK (Lenovo) seems all geared up to launch its flagship smartphone dubbed Z2 Pro.
ZUK Z2 Pro is the successor of ZUK Z1 which was released last year. The handset will be announced at an exclusive event that will be organized in China.
CEO of the company, Chang Cheng, shared the first picture of the upcoming handset. He also affirmed that ZUK Z2 Pro will be launched on 21st of April in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
The image released by Cheng has disclosed that ZUK Z2 will feature a cured glass display, a rear snapper with dual tone LED flash as well as laser autofocus. However, Cheng did not reveal the specs of ZUK Z2 Pro.
The smartphone recently appeared on the AnTuTu benchmarking site and thus its specs were listed. The benchmarking details of the handset revealed a 5.5-inch or 5.7-inch full HD IPS display with 1920×1080p screen resolution.
An inspection of the innards of the handset revealed that ZUK Z2 Pro will be fueled by Quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC along with Adreno 530 GPU for enhanced graphics.
For storage, Z2 Pro by ZUK will sport 4GB/3GB RAM along with 32GB/64GB internal storage on board. The smartphone will also support dual SIM feature and will be driven by Android Marshmallow 6.0 topped with ZUI.
The rumored camera specs have hinted that the handset will pack in 13MP back camera supported by laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash. Z2 Pro will also include an 8MP front-facing camera designed specifically to click selfies.
ZUK Z2 Pro will also feature a fingerprint scanner and will come with 4G LTE, WIFI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, USB Type C connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1.
ZUK will officially announce the features and specs of the handset on Thursday, April 21.
