It seems to be the season of smartphone launches with all that we have going around these days.
We have already confirmed that Xiaomi is launching two Poco units. Realme is following suit with a Realme Master GT series while Huawei is not hoping to be left out with the P50 line-up.
As if those are not enough to make the rest of the month interesting, ZTE has confirmed that the Axon 30 launch will happen on July 27.
The official confirmation comes via a post on Weibo which also included the first official shots of the phone. From there, you don’t need a keen eye to see that the four-camera setup on the back of the phone – making it look like the Huawei P50 that’s just coming out of the stables too.
While the images don’t tell us much about specs, the device will come in a variety of four different colours, at least. One looks like a leather finish, another two are glossy and the last comes with some rainbow gradient.
Looking at the spec sheet, we should get the Qualcomm SD 870 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM (options for 6 and 8GB RAM also exist), and a storage that goes all the way to 512GB. If you don’t need as much, you could get the 128GB and 256GB options instead.
The quad cam setup is led by a 64MP sensor, handling stellar work on the back while a 16MP under-display camera does the selfie and video calling job on the front. Finally, the unit will debut with Android 11 on board.
