Xiaomi’s MIUI 9 has been rolled out to devices over the past few months but since, we have not been treated to a stable build of the software. All that is set to change today though as the Asian OEM has now pushed out the final build. Dubbed MIUI 9.5, the update does not only come with stabilisation but a long list of bug fixes and improvements too.
Some of the new features that are exclusive to this software version are a new start page for the in-built browser, addition of kernel optimisations to the browser, option to automatically turn off the Wi-Fi as soon as data limit is reached and so much more.
The OTA update has already started to reach eligible units. Speaking of eligible, Xiaomi has a long list of 30 different smartphones under their brand name which would be getting the bump. The most notable of these are the likes of their Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 4 and the Mi Mix 2.
Let us know as soon as the updates start reaching your device, and if what you got is in line with the official changelog that comes with it.
