We knew that Xiaomi was bringing the 11 Lite soon, but we didn’t know when. Today, the company has announced the device with the name 11 Lite NE 5G.
This version was launched in India and bears the same specs as the original 11 Lite 5G NE that was launched globally, so we don’t see why they had to change the naming convention here. That could allow them handle software updates and addressing the unit better in future communications, though.
If you didn’t check out the other unit when it launched, note that this one also brings a 6.55-inch screen equipped with 90Hz refresh rate. That is not the best thing on the market these days, but it is a good deal for the price that this phone comes in.
Speaking of price, you can get the device from an equivalent of $317, depending on the one that best catches your fancy.
The options that you get from Xiaomi include the 6GB/ 128GB configuration, and you can go as high as choosing an 8GB RAM instead. No matter which you choose, you get the same Android 11 out of the box, paired with a Qualcomm SD 778G 5G chipset out of the box.
A 4250mAh battery keeps the lights on which you get to charge with the bundled 33W fast charging specs.
Lest we forget, the 20MP snapper on the front might be impressive, but you will surly love what you get with the triple camera sensor on the back with a 64MP snapper at its head.
