Two days ago, Vivo took to Malaysia to unveil the Vivo Y20 (2021). Following the launch, the company announced a similar device called the Vivo Y20A went official in India.
The all-new Vivo Y20A arrives as the third phone in the Vivo Y20 series, which already includes the Vivo Y20 and the Vivo Y20i.
Now, here are the specifications and features of the Vivo Y20A:
The Vivo Y20A comes with a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel that supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The screen has a waterdrop notch design and offers the user with the usual 20:9 aspect ratio. However, on the inside, the new Vivo Y20A smartphone comes with a less powerful Snapdragon 439 chipset, unlike the Snapdragon 460 in other members of the Y20 series.
The handset arrives with 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a moderate internal storage space of 64GB. It also has support for storage expansion through a dedicated microSD card slot.
For software, the Vivo Y20A is pre-loaded with the FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 10 OS.
Talking lenses, the handset features a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 13-megapixel primary shooter followed by a pair of 2-megapixel sensors – one for micro shooting and the other depth sensing.
On the front side, the handset offers the user with an 8-megapixel shooter.
For backup, the handset relies on a 5,000mAh battery that supports only 10W of charging.
It carries support for connectivity features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports face unlock and a side-fitted fingerprint scanner.
Customers can pick the Vivo Y20A for Rs 11,490 in colour options like dawn white and nebula blue.
