Lately, three Vivo smartphones with model numbers V2009A, V2115A, and V2156A got approval from the TEENA certification authority of China. But the platform listed a few of the specs of the V2156A smartphone alone.
Two months ago, the Vivo V2156A smartphone surfaced alongside the Vivo Y76S smartphone at the IMEI database. Now, a Chinese tipster – WHY LAB – has claimed that the V2156A smartphone would debut under the Vivo Y55s moniker.
The authenticity of the information remains questionable. However, the TEENA listing mentioned that the phone weighs 175 grams, measuring 163.85 x 75.00 x 7.79mm. The Vivo V2156A sports a 6.58-inch TFT screen that delivers an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels.
Like the iQOO Z5x, the rear camera system on the Vivo V2156A smartphone comprises a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. It runs on Android 11 and relies on a 4,005mAh battery for backup.
The handset sports a 2.4GHz processor under the hood. The tipster also revealed that the Vivo V2156A would debut with the Dimensity 900 chipset and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
For security, the handset comes with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Speculations say that the Vivo V2156A smartphone may enter the Chinese markets in 8GB and 12GB RAM editions.
Spec-wise, the Vivo V2156A features similar specs to the iQOO Z5x. However, the former appears to have a slimmer chassis as it houses a smaller battery.
