Yesterday, Vivo secretly unveiled the Vivo Y31 smartphone in India. The handset comes with attractive features like an LCD waterdrop display, a 48-megapixel triple camera system, and a massive battery that supports fast charging.
The Vivo Y31 arrives as a mid-range smartphone under the Y-series. It features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD Halo FullView display that delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels – impressive for a mid-range smartphone.
The screen also supports a 20.7:9 aspect ratio and houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The selfie shooter supports Super Night Selfie, which enhances pictures taken at night.
The phone sports a rectangular-shaped camera module on its rear panel. It houses its triple rear camera system that comprises a 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
The rear cameras carry support for EIS video stabilization and Super Night mode.
Under the hood, the Snapdragon 662 processor drives the Vivo Y31. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.
The all-new Vivo Y31 boots to the FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11 OS. And it draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.
The phone comes with the usual connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, dual SIM support, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Vivo Y31 also features a microSD card slot and a side-facing fingerprint reader.
The handset arrived in India in colours like ocean blue and racing black. It carries a price tag of Rs 16,490 (~$225).
Asides notable offline stores, customers can purchase the Vivo Y31 on online platforms like Paytm, Vivo India’s online store, Flipkart, and Amazon India.
However, HDFC bank credit and debit cardholders can get up to Rs 1,000 cashback on the purchase of the Vivo Y31.
