A couple of days back, two Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX2173 and RMX 2117 surfaced on TEENA, a Chinese regulatory body for smartphones.
Before now, rumours around the RMX217 device suggests that it would debut as a Q-series smartphone from Realme.
Since the RMX2117’s appearance on TEENA, its entire specs have been revealed. Meanwhile, its listing also received updates with the necessary details.
Also, the RMX2173’s listing now contains its specifications and images.
The model number RMX2173 suggest that the phone may arrive as a variant of the recently announced Realme X7 phone.
The Realme X7 phone has the model number RMX2176, which is very close to the model number of the upcoming device.
The TEENA listing of the RMX2173 shows that its specs and design are similar to that of the Realme X7.
The discovery suggests that the RMX2173 device would debut as a lower model of the Realme X7 as it features downgraded cameras and other specs lower than that of the Realme X7.
The RMX2173 phone would come with a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. The screen offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and delivers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The device would debut with an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.4GHz. It may arrive China in 6GB / 8GB storage variants and with up to 256GB of native storage.
The RMX2173 smartphone features a lower 16-megapixel front-facing camera unlike the 32-megapixel selfie lens on the Realme X7.
On the backside, the device packs a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera setup. The Realme X7, on the other hand, launched with a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup.
The TEENA listing of the RMX2173 device reveals that it has a dual-cell battery. Unfortunately, the render only mentioned the capacity of one, which is 2,100mAh.
The smartphone would likely come pre-loaded with Realme Ui based on Android 10 OS.
