Recently, rumors suggested that Realme will be holding a launch event this month to unveil the Realme X3 series. Few hours ago, through its Weibo handle, the Chinese firm confirmed that it will hold a launch event on May 25 at 2 PM (local time) and also made it known that it will be unveiling 8 new products at the launch event.
Presently, we do know the names of the devices to be launched, but we believe the company did leave some clues on the poster it shared with the public. The poster shows three items, which include a wireless earbud, a power bank, and a smartphone.
The main attraction of the event is expected to be the Realme X3 series. Other devices to be unveiled alongside the X3 series could be accessory products. The much anticipated Realme TV might as well debut at this launch event.
The Realme X3, Realme X3 SuperZoom, and Realme X3 Pro are the three devices in the Realme X3 lineup. The monikers of the X3 and X3 SuperZoom have been spotted on Realme India’s official website. The primary feature of the Realme X3 SuperZoom is its periscopic zoom lens that will allow images to be captured with 60x digital zoom.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ chipset and up to 12GB of RAM. Other details of the phone are yet to be revealed, but the phone may ship with a 4,200mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
While the name of the Pro model of the X3 series is not yet confirmed, we expect that it will be the last phone in the first half of 2020 to be powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC.
