Meanwhile, speculations suggest the mystery Realme phone will debut under the ‘Ace’ brand name. However, the firm has confirmed that its first Snapdragon 888 device will arrive as Realme Koi.
In some Asian countries like China and Japan, Koi is an ornamented fish known for its vibrant colours and beauty. Koi means luck in the Chinese and Japanese culture.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that the upcoming Realme Koi will feature an attractive design and launch in various vibrant colours.
Already, the firm has launched a dedicated page for the Realme Koi phone on Weibo. It is believed the company will use the profile to share more information about the phone as time goes on.
Based on recent reports, the Realme Koi phone has the model number RMX2022. The reports further claimed that the phone would offer users with up to 12GB of RAM and a generous storage of 256GB.
For software, based on the latest Android 11 OS, the Realme Koi phone would likely boot to the Realme UI 2.0.
