Recently, the news of an upcoming iQOO smartphone made it to the internet space. iQOO is getting ready to launch the iQOO 7 gaming-focused smartphone in the first quarter of 2021.
The handset would debut as one of the first in China to feature the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Some reports claim that the handset would likely go official before China’s Spring Festival, which falls on February 12.
Meanwhile, last Friday, a pre-sale poster of the upcoming iQOO phone was spotted at store in China by a Weibo user. The revelation hints that the iQOO 7 may launch sometime in January.
The Weibo user claimed to have spoken with the clerk at the retail outlet for more information about the iQOO 7. He revealed that the upcoming iQOO flagship stock would hit their shelves in about half a month.
The information shared by the clerk aligns with a recent leak that claims that the phone would debut by mid-January.
Currently, the front design and specifications of the upcoming iQOO 7 are unknown. However, the Chinese firm has shared a render that reveals the build of the handset.
The firm will launch a special BMW edition for the iQOO 7 like it did for the iQOO 5 Pro.
The poster reveals that the handset would feature a 120W fast charger. Now, we are sure of two main specifications which include the chipset and charging capacity.
Meanwhile, an iQOO device with model number V2049A recently bagged approval from the 3C authority of China.
Speculations have it that the iQOO V2049A phone could launch as the iQOO 7 smartphone.
