Finally, the Indian arm of Motorola has unveiled the Motorola Edge 20 Pro smartphone in the country. Following the arrival of the Edge 20 and the Edge 20 Fusion in August, the newest addition to the series launched as the country’s third Edge device from Motorola.
As the name implies, the all-new Moto Edge Pro smartphone sports some pro features like a 144Hz AMOLED display, a 108-megapixel triple camera system, and a Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Specifications of the Motorola Edge 20 Pro Smartphone
The handset sports a massive 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that supports a 20:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen also supports 10-bit colors, 144Hz refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, and DCI-P3 color gamut.
Inside, the all-new Moto Edge 20 Pro features the Snapdragon 870 processor. It offers the user 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and it boots to the MyUX interface based on a near-stock edition of Android 11 OS.
A 4,500mAh battery powers the handset, and it supports 30W TurboCharge fast charging. On the front, the Moto Edge 20 Pro sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter that allows the user to take selfies and make video calls.
The back panel of the phone has a rectangular housing for the rear camera setup. The triple camera system consists of a 108-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro sensor, and an OIS-assisted periscope zoom shooter.
According to Motorola, the periscope zoom lens on the Moto Edge 20 Pro allows 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.
Other features of the smartphone include dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Google Assistant toggle, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP52 rated chassis.
Pricing Details of the Motorola Edge 20 Pro Smartphone
The Moto Edge 20 Pro arrived in India with a price tag of Rs 36,999 (~$498). And customers can get it in two color variants – iridescent cloud and midnight sky.
