A few days back, ASUS shared the first teaser of its upcoming ROG gaming smartphone. From the post, it appears that the next-generation ROG-branded device will feature an improved display.
Recently, a Chinese tipster revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the ASUS ROG Phone 4.
Interestingly, a Weibo user has shared the live image of the device. And it reveals the rear design of the phone.
The Weibo user that shared the live picture of the next-gen ROG phone claims that it could arrive as the ROG Phone 5.
He based his reason on the presence of the numbers ‘05’ on the back panel of the device. Of course, ASUS is yet to confirm the official moniker of the upcoming device.
However, the 05 detailing on the handset’s back panel suggests that the Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer is skipping the number 4.
Overall, the design of the upcoming ROG Phone 5 is quite similar to its predecessors. It appears ASUS is keen on internals than design for the ROG Phone series.
The phone sports a ROG brand logo at the bottom-left corner of its rear panel. And the handset features a red button on the lower-right corner of its frame.
The mystery button appears to be a click key to activate the game mode on the phone.
At the top-left corner, the ROG Phone 5 packs a horizontal camera module that houses three lenses. The primary lens has a resolution of 64-megapixel and supports quad-Bayer technology.
The authenticity of the image remains unconfirmed. Therefore, it is advisable to wait on official reports from the brand.
So far, rumours believe that the upcoming ROG Phone 5 would debut with a massive 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
