Recently, a German publication revealed the codenames of two upcoming Motorola-branded devices – Motorola Nio and Motorola Capri.
According to past reports, the Nio would debut as a Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered device. On the other hand, the Capri and Capri Plus smartphones may come as 4G mid-rangers.
Speculations have it that the mystery Motorola smartphones would debut in the first quarter of 2021. However, the claims are unconfirmed as the firm is yet to speak of the upcoming devices.
A fresh piece of information shared by the publication states that Motorola has another upcoming smartphone in the works.
The report claims that the handset, which has the codename Ibiza, would go official soon. Interestingly, the source of the leak shared a few of the specifications of the Motorola Ibiza.
Leaked Specifications of the Motorola Ibiza
The report mentioned that the device has the model number XT-2137. It further revealed that the Ibiza would debut with a mystery SM4350 5G-enabled Snapdragon processor.
Rumours have it that the phone may run on the forthcoming 5G-ready Snapdragon 4 series chipset, which is expected to debut soon.
The leak also states that the phone may arrive with a display that supports HD+ resolution, supports a 90Hz refresh rate, and has a waterdrop notch design.
On the inside, it features 4GB of RAM, and it would offer the user with a generous onboard storage space of 128GB.
For software, the Motorola Ibiza would ship out with the latest Android 11 OS and house a massive 5,000mAh battery for backup.
For the optics, the leak hinted that the Ibiza would sport a Samsung S5K3I6 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the rear side, the handset packs a triple camera setup that comprises of a 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 5-megapixel snapper, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
