At some point this month, Samsung would likely announce the Galaxy F62 mid-range device in India.
A couple of hours back, a reliable tipster – Mukul Sharma – hinted the chipset the upcoming Samsung device would feature.
He further mentioned that the Galaxy F62 would debut with a price tag less than Rs 25,000 (~$343).
Following that, another tipster, Ishan Agarwal, has revealed more information about the upcoming F-series device.
Together with My Smart Price, Ishan revealed that the next F-series smartphone would arrive India as Galaxy F62.
The smartphone would arrive as the second F-series smartphone to hit the Indian market. Last year, the brand took to India to debut the Samsung Galaxy F41.
The Galaxy F41 set a record as the first F-series smartphone to hit the Indian market.
Meanwhile, the leak mentioned that the Galaxy F62 smartphone has the model number SM-E625F, and it would sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel.
It is unclear what kind of charging speed the phone supports; however, the leak mentioned that it would draw power from a massive 7,000mAh battery.
For now, the leak revealed nothing about the processor of the device.
Meanwhile, the Geekbench listing of the Galaxy F62 states that it would feature the Exynos 9825 chipset.
The smartphone would offer the user 8GB of RAM and an in-built storage of 128GB. It will ship with the One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 OS.
On the front, the Galaxy F62 would sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. On the other hand, the rear shell of the phone packs a square-shaped camera module.
The camera unit comprises a 64-megapixel primary shooter and three other lenses. The configuration of the three lenses remain unknown.
