Reports have it that iQOO is allegedly working on a new smartphone called the iQOO Z5x – and it may arrive this month. Meanwhile, the product page of a device went live on a Chinese retail website – JD.com – last week.
Though the listing revealed nothing regarding the upcoming handset, an IMEI database listing of a mystery Vivo handset with model number V2131A signifies that it may arrive in the markets under the iQOO Z5x moniker.
Fortunately, a Chinese tipster has shed some light after sharing information on the processor and charging capability of the upcoming iQOO Z5x.
The tipster mentioned that the iQOO Z5x smartphone would debut with the Dimensity 900 process. And it will support 44W of fast charging. This information tallies with details of the V2131A smartphone that made it to the Google Play Console last month.
The Dimensity 900 chip hints that the upcoming iQOO Z5x could arrive as a little brother to the iQOO Z5 that recently debuted in the Indian and Chinese markets. Meanwhile, speculations say the upcoming Z5x’s launch in India remains uncertain.
The Vivo V2131A smartphone got approval from the 3C authority of China already, and the 3C listing of the handset mentions that it would arrive as a 5G-ready device with an in-box 44W fast charger.
Presently, there is no information on the phone’s battery capacity.
Meanwhile, the phone’s Google Play Console listing stated that it could arrive with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with a centrally-positioned punch-hole. The display supports Full HD+ resolution as well.
For now, there is no news regarding the camera configuration. However, the handset would likely ship with 8GB of RAM and the Android 11 OS.
