iQOO Z1, iQOO’s next flagship device, is all set to launch and go official on May 19. The company is confirming the key specs the phone is going to feature ahead of the official launch. Yesterday, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer revealed the color options and the rear design of the phone.
Not quite long ago, the company released two new posters on Weibo to confirm the charging capabilities and battery capacity of the device.
Out of the box, the iQOO Z1 will be coming with a 4,500mAh capacity battery with support for 44W ultra-fast fast charge technology. The new iQOO Z1 has the same battery size and fast charging technology, just like the recently unveiled iQOO Neo3.
The second poster confirms the iQOO Z1 will be powered by the all-new MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
The iQOO Z1 will sport an IPS LCD panel that supports a topnotch refresh rate of 144Hz and Full HD+ resolution. The phone will feature a punch-hole display, and of course, the front-facing camera is expected to be the reason for the hole.
The rear side of the phone is going to feature a triple-camera setup, but we do not know the configurations of both the front and rear cameras for now.
The iQOO Neo3 and the iQOO Z1 share the same battery capacity and fast charging technology, so we expect they will share some other features as well. The Neo3 came with a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display and supports up to 144Hz refresh rate. The Neo3 is run by the Snapdragon 865. It features a 16MP selfie camera and a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup on the rear.
The base model of the iQOO Z1 may come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of in-built storage and will likely cost 2,498 Yuan (~$352).
