Last month, Apple unveiled the cheapest phone in its current lineup, the iPhone SE 2020. After the phone was revealed, the sales of this device did not start immediately in India. Now that the nation-wide lock-down enforced due to the COVID-19 pandemic is being relaxed, Apple is getting ready to begin the sales of the iPhone SE 2020 in the country. FlipKart, a renowned Indian retail site, now has a landing page for the iPhone SE 2020. The listing reveals that the sales of the iPhone SE 2020 will begin on May 20.
The iPhone SE 2020 sports a 4.7-inch display that supports 750 x 1334 pixels. The device runs on iOS 13 and is powered by Apple A13 Bionic chipset with 3GB of RAM. The phone has a 7MP front-facing camera, and on the rear side is a 12MP camera alongside a LED flash.
The iPhone SE 2020 has a 1,821mAh battery that supports Qi wireless charging and 18W fast charging.
Three storage versions of the iPhone SE 2020 will be available for sale in India. The 64G, 128GB, and 256GB variants are priced at Rs. 42,500 (~$563), Rs. 47,800 (~$633) and Rs. 58,300 (~$772) respectively.
The first sale will commence at noon on May 20. The device will also be available in three color options; Black, White, and Red.
