Last August, Infinix took the covers off the fifth-generation Smart series – the Infinix Smart 5 – in Nigeria.
A fresh piece of information shared by My Smart Price claims that the Chinese phone maker would launch the Infinix Smart 5 in India by the middle of February.
If the leak is legit, Infinix may start teasing the arrival of the Smart 5 soon. The teasers would likely be released through the brand’s official channels.
Presently, the price of the smartphone in India remains unknown. Meanwhile, the Infinix Smart 5 sells for NGN 39,000 (~Rs 7,600; ~$104).
The Infinix Smart 4 launched in India last November for Rs 6,999 (~$96). Therefore, the upcoming Smart 5 may debut with a similar price tag.
