Today, Huawei took to China to silently unveil the Huawei P40 4G smartphone. The smartphone joined the existing league of smartphone in the P40-series.
The all-new Huawei P40 is now listed on JD.com, and the listing has revealed most of its specifications and features.
Specifications of the Huawei P40 4G Smartphone
The latest addition to the P40 lineup has the model number ANA-AL0C. The handset weighs 175 grams, and it measures 148.90 x 71.06 x 8.5mm.
It features a 60Hz OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution. For security, the Huawei P40 4G supports face unlock and an under-display fingerprint reader.
On the front, the screen has a pill-shaped cutout at the top-left corner. The cutout houses a 32-megapixel dual-camera setup that allows the user to take selfie pictures and make video calls.
The handset features a rectangular-shaped rear camera setup on its back panel. It comprises a 50-megapixel Super-Sensing primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter.
The rear camera on the Huawei P40 4G offers support for 30x digital zoom.
The Kirin 990 4G processor oversees the operations of the handset. The JD listing did not mention the capacity of the battery the phone houses.
However, it appears the phone would come with the same 3,800mAh battery available in the 5G variant of the Huawei P40.
Meanwhile, the phone would carry support for 22.5W fast charging.
For software, the version of the Android 10 OS on the handset remain a mystery. Nonetheless, the handset offers the user 8GB of RAM and a native storage space of 128GB.
For additional storage, the Huawei P40 4G comes with an NM card slot.
Pricing Details of the Huawei P40 4G Smartphone
The Huawei P40 4G costs 3,988 Yuan (~$525). The 4G variant is 500 Yuan (~$77) cheaper than the 5G edition.
The handset will be available for purchase in colours like forest silver and dark blue.
