Huawei is not playing in the smartphone market – and they are not relenting in the tablet market either.
Already, the Asian OEM has confirmed that it will be launching the Nova 7 series on the 23rd of April. They have now come out with another official confirmation that this would be the same day that we get the MatePad for this year. Note that the company had already put the tablet up for preorder in China before now, but we didn’t have an official launch date to go with that.
Seeing as the phone is already online, we don’t have to go fishing too much for information on it.
There, we have that this 10.4-inch tablet will have the Kirin 810 chipset with 6GB of RAM and a 128Gb storage under the hood. On the front will be an 8MP selfie snapper and a similar sensor on the rear. The only difference is that the rear camera has a LED flash to match.
From these, it seems that this is the cheaper answer to the MatePad Pro 5G – and the coming unit will have support for 4G networks only too.
The launch is just a couple of days away so we see what more they have in store for us then
