HTC announced its flagship HTC 10 via a live online launch event yesterday. Even before the dust had settled on the launch of the premium handset, HTC has introduced a variant of the smartphone, christened HTC 10 (Lifestyle) in India.
While the original HTC 10 comes with a 5.2-inches Quad HD 2.5D curved glass display, Snapdragon 820 SoC and 4GB RAM, the Indian variant is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 SoC and features 3GB RAM.
It has been announced that the same edition of HTC 10 i.e. HTC 10 (Lifestyle) will find its way into the Russian market as well.
HTC has not yet disclosed its reasons for releasing different models in other markets. However, the analysts are of the view that HTC 10 Lifestyle will definitely hang a lower price tag in comparison with the Snapdragon 820 version.
All the other specs of the device will essentially remain the same. HTC 10 Lifestyle will include 12MP (Ultrapixel) camera with Laser autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS), f/1.8 aperture as well as a 5MP front-facing camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS.
The octa-core Snapdragon 652 64-bit processor will be augmented with Adreno 510 GPU to deliver superior graphics experience.
HTC 10 Lifestyle will house 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 2TB with microSD.
The handset will feature a full metal body design just like HTC 10. It will also house a fingerprint sensor featuring 0l.2 second unlock capability inside the home button.
HTC 10 Lifestyle will flaunt 24-bit hi-res DAC audio chip and BoomSound speakers to ensure a top-notch audio experience. A 3000 mAh built-in battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 will power the handset.
The handset will be driven by Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC Sense 8.0 UI on the top.
HTC 10 Lifestyle will be released in Carbon Grey, Glacier Silver and Topaz Gold colors.
