Yesterday, Honor held its Smart Life conference. The company unveiled the new Honor V6 tablet, amongst other products at the event. Though the tablet market has declined drastically, Huawei and Honor have managed to remain at the top of their game in the production and sales of tablets. Both companies have agreed on releasing flagship devices alongside their entry-level and mid-range products.
Huawei MatePad Pro 5G, which was released last year, was the first 5G-enabled tablet produced globally. The Honor V6, however, is crowned as the first to support 5G connectivity and WiFi 6.
The Honor V6 comes with a big 10.4-inch fullscreen display with 84% screen to body ratio and 2K resolution. The design on the back of the tablet is said to have been inspired by nature’s Tindal effect.
The Honor V6 tablet also features a stylus pen having a 4096-level pressure sensitivity. The stylus is referred to as Magic Pencil, and it can be used for free-hand sketches and fine art drawing on the tablet. The tablet also comes with a mechanical Bluetooth keyboard, which allows you to use the tablet as a mini-laptop.
The Kirin 985 chipset powers the Honor V6 tablet. This chipset allows the device the support for 5G connectivity and the WiFi 6 technology as well. It also sports the newly upgraded Huawei self-developed Histen 6.1 3D sound effects and four large-amplitude speakers.
A massive 7,250mAh battery powers the device. The tablet has a Type-C USB port for charging, and it supports 22.5W super-fast charging.
As for the optics, an 8MP camera selfie camera is located at the front side of the tab, while the rear packs a single 13MP camera.
The device will come in three color options, namely; Magic Night Black, Titanium Sky Silver, and Wizard of OZ.
