Two months ago, Honor took to China to announce the Honor X20 5G smartphone. The company launched the device under its set of mid-range devices. And reports have been flying regarding the launch of another Honor X20 smartphone.
The rumor mill has it that the new X20 variant will debut under the Honor X20 Max 5G moniker. It appears the upcoming X20 model will feature improved specifications.
Already, a tipster claims that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer plans to unveil the X20 Max 5G before the end of the month. However, the authenticity of the information remains questionable as Honor is yet to release an official statement.
Further, the tipster mentioned that the company is preparing for the Double 11 (Nov.11) annual shopping festival in China. Asides from the Honor X20 Max 5G’s launch, the firm may put the Honor Watch GS 3 up for its first sales this October.
Recall, Honor announced the Honor Watch GS 3 in August. However, the company didn’t confirm its availability at the announcement. So, it appears that the GS 3 smartwatch would launch alongside the Honor X20 Max 5G.
Meanwhile, past reports have stated that the Honor X20 Max 5G would come with an LCD screen that measures 7.2-inches. It is uncertain whether the display will feature a higher refresh rate. But, it does promise to deliver a Full HD+ resolution.
It’s likely for the Dimensity 1100 chip to be present under the hood of the Honor X20 Max 5G. And it may house a 6,000mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.
The rear side of the Honor X20 Max 5G may sport a 64-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
