Even though the Galaxy Fold has been out since February, Samsung is just commissioning the first official update to go to this unit today. With this update, it is not easy to miss the fact that they have focused much more on the camera than any other section – and users now get all of the bundled features of the Galaxy Note 10 cameras.

The firmware sits at about 670MB and also bumps the phone up to the security patch for the month of October, but not everyone is getting it yet. As of now, users in France and Germany should be receiving the update. We believe it is part of a stepwise process, and every other region will get theirs soon too.

As for the camera sections, the Galaxy Fold now has all of Night Mode (for selfies), Live Focus, the AR Doodle and the signature super steady mode that comes with Hyperlapse mode.
