Before now, multiple reports have hinted that Samsung is getting ready to announce an A-series smartphone in India.
About a week ago, leaks revealed that the upcoming A-series handset would arrive in India as Galaxy A12.
The support page and user manuals for the Galaxy A12 appeared on the website of Samsung India over the weekend.
It appears that the smartphone will hit the Indian market soon.
Meanwhile, the South Korean giant launched the phone for the European market last year November. Hence, its specifications are already known.
However, a reliable tipster – Abhishek Yadaz – has shared the highlights of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A12.
He shared the images of some documents regarding the Galaxy A12. The pictures revealed that the handset would feature a 6.5-inch Infinity V-notch display that produces an HD+ resolution.
It further mentioned that the screen has a 20:9 aspect ratio, and it houses an 8-megapixel selfies snapper in the on-screen notch.
The phone packs a quad rear camera system that consist of a 48-megapixel primary camera, and ultrawide 5-megapixel shooter, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
The Galaxy A12 would draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It is secured by Samsung KNOX. And it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The handset offers the user a generous storage space of 128GB and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The leaked images did not reveal the name of the chipset the handset features. However, it appears the Galaxy A12 heading for India will have the same Helio P35 processor on the worldwide edition.
The leak further mentioned that the smartphone would arrive in India in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage edition and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage edition.
Customers can purchase the phone in colours like blue, white, and black.
