The Black Shark gaming series of phones first came from the Xiaomi brand before they ventured out on their own. It is, thus, nice to see that they have kept the flag flying as they shape up to launch a Black Shark 4 now.
The details of this phone have been in the news for a while now, but we didn’t know when the veil would be officially taken of. As of now, the company has confirmed that they will bring us the unit via a March 23 launch event.
Already, we know that OnePlus is launching the OnePlus 9 series on the same day and Realme has an Indonesian event for both the Realme C21 and Realme C25 on that day too. That is surely one event-packed day for us.
Looking at the Black Shark 4, the device is poised to come with an impressive 4500mAh battery, use either of an SD 888 or SD 870 chipset and could have as much as 18GB of RAM. With two model numbers and some difference in internal specs, there are some murmurs that we could as well see a Pro version of the Black Shark 4 this year.
Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long for that anymore.
